Something wicked (and pink) this way comes!

Meteora build #2 is officially underway!

I'd like to give a special "thank you" to my family, my friends, and to Krylon "Berry Pink" for making this punk pink pop rocker possible! :D

This reminds me of Astrozombie (whatever happened him?) and his Katy Perry obsession for some reason.

Suggestion for the guitar at hand....

Put a black wash over that so it sinks in the grain, and then all black hardware / guard etc.

kind of like this, except pink with black veins of grain

By the way, my recent move put my Punk Pink Meteora build on hold. I have all the parts with me, but my tools are still with the moving company while my wife and I continue to try and find a home in the crazy market of the Pacific Northwest.

As such, I won't be able to finish the guitar completely for another few weeks. I will say that the pink mellowed nicely as it cured, so it's not quite as "neon berry" looking, just "hot berry" now, but is still VERY pink and plenty "punk" looking. I'm actually very excited about it!

As for the new Meteoras...I think it's awesome that Fender didn't give up on the body style too soon, but the new ones are likely the same size as the last batch, which is a touch too small for me.

D@mn Rosser Guitars for no longer making the oversized version of these bodies!

BTW, there are new Meteora basses, too!

Good luck! When we were buying this house we moved into an extended stay hotel for what we figured would be two months. Ten months later we finally moved out. It was worth it though we found the perfect house.

Heh . . . my dad planned to live in a trailer for two months during the summer to cover the gap from when they had to move out of their old house and before the new house they were building was completed. Ended up being sixteen months. It's amazing that my step mom didn't divorce him in that camper during Ottawa's winter. :P
