Got the project nearing final stages of completion tonight. wired up pretty neatly nd properly, which wiring is was , and will always be my bugaboo, but I've gotten a lot better at it with trail and error. I gotta say I did a bang up[ job leveling and polishing the frets. If you notice, I moved the volume pot down , cause it interferes with my sweep of the picking hand.
Quartersawn 90's Jackson MIJ Professional Neck, early 90's Jackson Poplar body, Schaller JT590 Tremolo ( forgot to put bar in for pics) with a aftermarket brass block. Best of all is the first of the very early issue Duncan Customs in the bridge , from right around the same time frame for that x-tra mojo.
I did away with the stupid middel p[ickup and use a three way switch for bridge and middle - its just a dummy cover.
Sounds really awesome, and is a great player when seated, but not so much of me standing. This axe is my dedicated old Skool Metal axe with my JCM800 full stack, for everything form mid to late 70's Foghat and stuff, all the way through to early 90's Metallica.
Theres an issue with the b string, its too low and I think I have the4 saddels out of order, but I'll try and iron out that issue.
