somewhat smaller tortex?

Is there a pick that is essentially a tortex but with about 3-5 mm off the top?

I bought some gator grips a long time ago and can't remember whether they were smaller. same shape more or less though I think

Yes the Gator Grips are slightly smaller than the standard sized Tortex.

What about the tear drop versions? I believe they also come in Jazz shape.

You want the purple ones right? Those are the only good ones.

Purple Tortex are the bomb. Right thick enough imo

I would choose the D'addario Black Ice or the Dunlop Jazz III-shape Tortex. I just switched to those after 20 years of using Gator Grip .96mm. I never liked the thick, normal Jazz IIIs, and these are a great compromise.

Check out the Jazz III Tortex picks. That's what I've been using for years. In purple of course!

Black Ice for me too. Size is just right and they don't cost much. Just wish they had one between the .8 and 1.1
