Somewhere out in space..

Phantasmagoria

watch where you point that sabre
Nothing new except the space visuals & killer mastered audio.

Three of my personal fave bedroom jams I just had mastered by my new "go-to" guy on fiverr.com (dude does a great job with my crappy loop pedal recordings for 5 bucks!) & I just did some SWEET space-themed video's for..

Oldie that's pretty different from my usual stuff... (ambient/clean YJM strat jam) ..the master really brought it to life I think..

Re: Somewhere out in space..

My old comp had a pretty cool video editor I'd downloded that allowed "overlays"

(did this one with that a few years ago):

But I forgot the name of that thing and could'nt really find any free online editor's like it when I looked around a while ago (they all output video with a watermark or they don't support layers or they're tough as hell to use..). Then I realised I had one already installed on my new (this) comp. It's called Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 and it came pre-installed when I bought it. Works ok (tends to crash a bit though..) but it supports overlays and is easy to use. So I had the vid of me playing, then overlaid that with the Star Wars (stars coming at ya!) vid and then finally a third track with some stock video space battle footage ...that's it.....done :D

EDIT: Come to think of it...if I can find the crappy audio track for ^^ that one...it's off to fiverr.com for mastering as well ..only hope it's not beyond redemption :laugh2:

Re: Somewhere out in space..

So...I just spent another $5.00 at fiverr.com.. :bigthumb:

A nice new slice of cheese :laugh2:

Considering what it sounded like before ...I think he cleaned it up pretty well :wizard:

Re: Somewhere out in space..

cool jams man, nice flow!!!

that fiverr.com dude hooked you up, good stuff as well

Re: Somewhere out in space..

Thanks!!! Those are some that I thought turned out better than others I've done and always wished they sounded better. I've often tried messing around/tweaking them in Audacity myself in past...the result was always pathetic haha. Then I tried LANDR (automated online mastering website) & that just made them louder/treblier (but thinner & sort of 'edgier' too) & they still sounded like crap. Yeah, I did'nt think anyone could do such a good job with them..but Thrakotool on fiverrr is the man :bigthumb:
