Songs with... different.. chords.

I'm looking to work on my chord abilities, and general guitar dexterity. Can anyone reccomend me some tunes which have akward, odd, or just different chords/chord progressions. Or if not, some good tunes for waking up my fingers.

Any style really.

In advance, I usually play chicago blues style stuff in bands, so I have a pretty good grasp of all of the basic open chords, 7th's, 9th's and the major, minor, sharp, and flat varients of each.

I also listen to and play lots of Opeth, and alot of their songs have akward chords/strange/dissonent chords.

Check out 'Taking it to the streets' by the doobie brothers, some real nice chordwork in that song, or in anything they've done for that matter!

Some John Mayer tunes have cool chords to play around with . . . try playing 'No Such Thing' or 'Daughters' . . . lots of open strings and cool chord voicings. If you want to try some fun fingerpicking, try playing 'Neon' . . . that will definately wake your fingers up . . .
