I know, I know... Travis Barker did his rock remix, and those screamo kids did theirs, but as far as I know, nobody's done anything like this yet. Started and finished today, mix might need some adjustments here and there, etc. First recording of mine with a real bass, too.

Guitars - 81 -> PODxt
Bass - Rockbass -> DI/PODxt
Drums - DFHS w/Sneap kick and some "AES" snare
Vocals - SM57 -> Saffire Pro

This version is great. I had to look up the orig for comparison and i'm glad I didn't have to endure that song during it's peak.

That's great! Much preferable to the original. Does yours come with a mosh pit dance of some sort?

At first, I hated it.---then I looked up the original.

Still sucks, but is 10,000 times better than the original.

Both versions are completely devoid of musical content.
Bass guitar sounded good, guitars sound good as usual. Except for the annoying "lead" parts.

I hate rap.

I can't even count the number of times my friend has played that song in her car to torment me...but your version is one I could honestly enjoy listening to :D

Nice work! I have to say that your recordings are some of the most impressive recordings I've heard from both this forum and anywhere else!
