Sound diff between detonator and invader?

I've heard the Detonator has a little less bass, but thats all.

It's much more like a Distortion with bit more low end and grunt. It's a really great pickup.

Fairly articulate. Not fizzy like the Invader. I'll take the Detonator over one of those any day of the week.

Get two Detonators and stick an A8 into one. One of my favorite "Duncan" pickups.

The Detonator sounds clearer and less thumpy than the Invader. TBH, Duncan should make a USA version of it. I think it'd sell.

The Detonator is basically a Distortion w/ Invader double row caps. Direct from Evan Skopp.

I dig it. Extremely tight, takes the shriek off the highs, a little thicker than a Distortion maybe. Great pickup.
