Soup Up the Tele...

I have a Classic Vibe Tele body I want to soup-up...

Here's the game plan...

Seymour Duncan Mini-humbucker in the neck
Seymour Duncan Quarterpunder Bridge
4 Way Switch (?)
Reverse Control Plate from

Selector > Volume > Tone

to

Volume > Tone > Selector.

I had a similar setup on a Reverend Buckshot... but someone else wired it up...

How do I accomplish this on a Tele?

What pots and caps do I use?

Is the 4-way beneficial?

Any advice would be great...

Re: Soup Up the Tele...

Sounds like a good plan! You won't need series with the fatness of those pups. You'll need 500k pots. 22nf cap works great, you can even go 18 or 15 if you want to get a huge range of usable tone from bright to med bright to med to med dark. You could also use a treble bleed cap in the 200pf range if you choose.

Well, internals are covered. I'm going to suggest this after all the wring is done:
