Got a raise for on the first of the year, saw a great deal on an Aerodyne P-Bass and well.... here we are. Very cool, very light and sounds great. Only thing is the bone white pickup cover doesn't really match the cream binding and my OCD is telling me to swap out the pickup, so it will definitely happen eventually.

I the gray jazz bass is dead sexy, too. I just prefer a P bass.

They're a little thinner, matching headstocks. My P bass is light but still well balanced. There teles, strats, P and J bass in white, gray, blue, green and "hot rod burst". I didn't see all models in all colors, but the gray tele and jazz bass really do it for me.

Not only thinner but the tops are curved. Very comfortable to play. I picked up a Jazz before and it was not neck heavy at all.

Oh cool...my Brian Moore guitar is curved like that, too. (not mine, but a better pic than I have)

Is it comfortable? Most guitars grate into my hip bone, this looks like it wouldn't.

Yeah, I think that is the problem it was designed to solve. It is super comfortable.

The original run back in the early 00's was all black, IIRC. They've released them in other colours since. There was even a red Aerodyne Strat with a flamed maple top.

I know they had guitars, too back in the 00s. Did the reissues feature guitars too, or just basses?

A quick search on the ol' interwebz says you can currently get AD Strats and Teles in baby blue, grey, white and red, by the looks of it.

I would totally dig a baby blue or red one. These are among some of my favorite Fender designs.
