Speaker changing advice needed

I was thinking of changing the speaker in my 65 watt waller solid state amp. Its a 12 inch factory speaker. I'm using a michael kelly lp with Seth Lover pups, a Clapton Crossroads pedal, going into the amp. Would changing the speaker help me improve my tone? If so what would be good to put in the amp? I play mostly Cream songs

I think speakers make a HUGE difference!!! I think they make a much larger difference than pickups. Possibly a Celistion V30??

I would say greenbacks. BUt if you want to improve your tone for that ype of classic rock. Save the money on the speaker and buy an old marshall tube amp of of ebay

I was going to say the Greenbacks but, arent they only rated a 25 watts?
