Speaker for DRRI

This has been done a million times, but what are your favorite speaker replacements for this amp? Also, what do you guys think of a greenback in there? (I know that a G12H30 is popular, and I always thought that the greenbacks were supposed to sound similar). Alright thanks dudes

The reason that guys prefer the H30 to a Greenback is because a single greenback in an open back cab REALLY lack bottom...go for the H30.

Well, how about putting an "american" flavored speaker in there? Try the Emmincence Cannabis Rex. That is a very bright amp to begin with. The CR will help tame some of that harshness. You'll thank me later. I'm making that the standard speaker on my little blackface amp that should be finally finished up soon.

i use a rex in my dr and really like it, loud and fat but not mushy. i love greenbacks but they wouldnt be a good match with a dr imo, nor do they sound all that similar to a g12h.

Alright, thanks guys - just curious - I do not have a DRRI but was just wondering why nobody threw a greenback in there - NOW I KNOW ;-)
