Speaker Holes not lining up

Not that I've done tons of speaker swapping over the years but I've never run into a situation where the holes didn't line up and quite frankly it never occurred to me that it might be a problem. Guess I've been a bit lucky but I still imagine that most manufacturers would see the benefit of sticking to some sort of standard. Would you buy a guitar from a company that only worked with their proprietary cable/connector? I'm not against real innovation and change but if your going to reinvent the wheel just to force consumers into the box you've built I'll pass.

No this was just before they started the built-in ts models.
The TB had a good clean and eq, and a fairly mid-rich high-gain, with the added shift and boost switches they were a great value.

I really believe many ss amps are under-estimated because their stock combo speakers and cabs are just not very good, and certainly not near the best.

The speakers in the ibanez TB sucked. When I first ran it through a recto-212 it was just crazy how much better it sounded.
Missing that amp is why I snagged a couple cheap peavey silver-stripes. The studio-pro 65w and envoy 40w both make good pedal platforms through quality cabs.

I bought my step son a little Ibanez practice amp in 2001 it didn't suk . Wasn't great . Didn't suk

You don't need to be posting on ANY forum, period.

Dude lighten up this is a legit issue when it happens.
On topic and yes have run into this and it can be a real PITA. To fix it you have to pull the speaker baffle to drill and install the nut for the speaker to mount and it's not fun.
