All right, I'm having trouble making some decisions. I recently acquired a Vibro King which is equipped with 3 Jensen P10R's. I already have a Custom Vibrolux Reverb (CVR) which I equipped with a Weber 10A125 and a 10F150. I'm planning to sell the CVR but I'm thinking I'd like to save at least one of those Webers. The 10F150 is simply too heavy a speaker to put in the VK (the amp is already 72 lbs) but I was thinking of swapping one of the VK's P10Rs for the 10A125.
The question is whether it's going to sound right on either amp. That would put the VK with two P10R's and a 10A125. The CVR would then have a P10R and a 10F150. I did the swap today and I'm having difficulty in deciding to leave it that way or swap back. I mainly don't want to screw up the VK because I like the early breakup and don't want it to get louder than it is. However I'm generally not a fan of the reissue Jensen line.
