Speaker question

Hi...

I have found and old solid state 12W Amp in my cousin garage. It has a broken 8'' speaker and I am looking for a replacement.

The only 8'' speaker my dealer can bring me it's a Celestion Truvox 0818 which is an acustic intended speaker. Do you think it'll be fine to intall one of those on my amp?

The amp is only 12 watts, so I think you'll be okay. Besides, the frequency spectrum of an acoustic isn't that much different than electric.
You might be able to find an 8" from Carvin, though it's been awhile since I saw their catalog.
