my 2 JBL's look like they need remagnetizing. Would a good amp shop have the equipment to do this?

would it be possible to do this with a larger magnet to remagnetize the alnico magnet on the d130f's?

i agree, i just finished attempting this and it only retained a small amount of magnetism.
Weber does remagnetizing right? I'm pretty sure that amp shop i go to has some sort of remagnetizing device.
How does remagnetizing work? Anybody here know?

Very few people have the equipment to remagnetize a speaker. Ted Weber might be the only one who can do it. He has remagnetized speakers for me.
I'd ask Ted about it and send it to him.
Ted does excellant recones and I've even sent him 50's P10R speakers that were freshly reconed by another speaker guy and asked him to recone it right.
He did!
