This is something I brainstormed on for the sheer simplicity. Rather than running a two speaker cabinet in either series or parallel, and since the cab has two inputs, I wired each speaker (16 ohms) separately to each input and simply adjust the ohms setting on the amp in accordance to the load-- 16 ohms for 1 speaker, 8 ohms for two (the equivalence of two cabinets). Compact, and allows for variatons in tone. Any ideas on how else this can play out( i.e., something I overlooked)?
