Speakers similar to Eminence Legend GB?

Hey all,

I’ve been using Eminence Legend GB128’s lately and love the tone. The really don’t sound like Greenbacks, but I love what they have going on. More bass, smooth mids, no fizz even with plenty of top end. Problem is I need 16 ohms, and really could use higher wattage. Anybody with experience with them come across anything similar that would get me those things? I appreciate any feedback.

The 67-94470499 on the sticker identifies these speakers as Eminence and from what I have read they are OEM GB128s. You can find them cheap on Reverb, ebay, and LetGo.

I'm a big fan of these speakers too. I read somewhere that you can special order them (16 ohm GB128's) directly from Eminence if you contact them. I think they're about $10 more than MRP for 16 ohm one's or something like that....

You mean ET90? ET90's have the heavy magnet, though. So they're probably closer to Celestion G12-80's which later morphed into Classic Leads.
