How do you get tolex to "wrap around" a circular or oval hole on an amp? I'd think there'd be a joint or buckling somewhere

Also - is it possible to install a hole in a head type cab for a vent without taking off all the tolex and taking the whole thing apart (assuming there's no electronics in the way).

Cut some slits and use a heat gun (or blow dryer). Easy on the heat. It's easy.

To be clear, I have never applied Tolex, other than flat panels. Or, flat panels with a cutout, like my post above. So when I say it's easy, I mean flat panels with ovals. I have no idea about inside corners or covering an entire cabinet or head.
