A few years back I needed a decent gig bag because my hardshell cases were becoming a pain to carry around. I ended up grabbing a reunion blues RB continental, it seemed like a really well constructed, high quality bag. It served me pretty decently for the time being but I don't think I've come to appreciate how amazing the case is until recently.
When I moved here to the UK, I could only bring one of my guitars with me, so I brought my American strat. With great fear, I brought it to the airport, and was only informed as I was moving onto the plane that I couldn't bring it as carry on luggage, and that it was going into the hold. All I kept thinking during the flight is 'oh god, that's it, that's the last time I'm ever seeing my guitar', but sure enough, I got off the plane, had the gig bag THROWN at the floor in front of me by the guy unloading equipment, and found the guitar was in perfect condition. I was pretty impressed to say the least, but what really sold me on it was what happened a few days ago. I was on my way to a gig, on the second floor of a double decker bus. The bus came to a hard stop and a start again just as I was coming down the stairs, I tripped and fell down three steps, spinning in the air so I landed on my guitar case, neck first. When I pulled myself off the bus I immediately set it down on the sidewalk and opened up my case, only to find that my guitar was completely untouched by that kind of impact.
I'm seriously so impressed by this company, the fact that it has kept my prized possession completely intact and unscratched through two really scary moments, they have a lifetime customer for sure.
