spector basses

anybody here have one? i played this amazing legend 4 string at GC today, it played and sounded f*ckin unbeleivable, and im planning on buying it (as much as it sucks to give my money to GC, this bass is too good not to get). they have it listed at $600, and im sure i could get it a bit cheaper. heres a pic, same finish and everything

so if anybody has experience with this model or spectors in general, speak up

i think spectors are great basses. the euro 4 (not lx) is one of my favorite active basses and his american mades are KILLER. a friend of mine paul has a bass stu build for namm a few years back and it is magnificent.

try and get a skb44 case, the bass, a set of dr marcus miller strings and give him $600 including tax

yeah, i was planning on making a similar deal, especially since a lotta places online (even MF!) have it for $550.

Spectors are some of teh most badass basses out there, especially teh USA ones.... easily on a level with Alembic or or Warwick IMO, jsut a bit less "variance" in the lines, they essentially have "their" almost classic shape and go from there
