I just got a Modded SD-1 from CaptainCrunch and love it.I dont know whats been done to it but all I can say is it is 100% better than my stock Sd-1 that I had always planned on getting modded.I use it with the amp distortion for extra scream and smoothness. Its so much clearer ,quieter and doesnt suck out the bottom end.So add this to the previous Spina testimonials.

Ahhhh yes....Another happy camper! Appreciate the nice posting and I'm glad I haven't lost it! (Yet) ! LOL....Enjoy the pedal..

I also own one of John's modded SD-1's, and I must say it sounds so much better than an "out-of-the-box" version. He does pretty good work for a southpaw :laugh2: (just kidding John, love ya' man!)

It's my eyes that are failing me.The hands still work though.. :laugh2:

Yous guys have convinced me to pick up an SD-1 (they're so cheap) and send it off to him. I'm always looking for ways to get a unique tone, and I doubt many recordings feature your SD-1's yet so I better make a recording with one so I can say I was among the first!

I think John is on hiatus right now so you may have to keep your eyes open someone selling one.Thats what I had to do.

John isn't on any hiatus....I just don't keep extra pedals here at home that are modded to sell....Guys always send me their pedals,I then mod them and send them back...The mods run in cycles...I can do a whole bunch one week and then do none the next or for 2 weeks,so it's best I do it the way I've been doing it so I don't end up with a ton of extra pedals! LOL
