Spina mods

Re: Spina mods

Wow, John..very generous! I didn't realize you lived in NPR, I thought you were further north. We are neighbors.

Hi Dave...Yep Deer Park actually...How bout you? As far as the pedal, would love to help a guy out whenever I can, especially since I Modded it..Was along time ago.

Re: Spina mods

Yeah, I was out of there a few weeks before (long story, but all the employees left). I opened up my own teaching studio at 19 & Main and still play out a lot.

Awesome...If money wasn't always tight, would absolutely love to take some lessons from you Dave.Maybe one of these days!

I ran into Mike recently and he told me he was working audio now at Sam Ash.

Re: Spina mods

i just got my Ibanez TS9dx in the mail from Mr. Spina and this thing is amazing. Everything sounds fatter without having that annoying midrange spike in it (and i love alot of mids in my tone) I never really noticed how midrangey it was until i had John worked on my pedal. Alot more useable gain is available (no hissy high end or buzzyness) , more bass is present, overall just better sounding. I've played alot of tubescreamers /TS clones and this is the best sounding one. The thing that really floors me is how all 4 modes have usuable sounds. Before i kept it on the TS9 setting the whole time because the other modes didnt do anything for me. Johns work is top notch and i would recomend his work in a heartbeat.

Contact me soon before I change my mind! :33:

Re: Spina mods

Oh gotcha. I live right in downtown NPR. Right off Grand Blvd.

Hay, I used to live in New Port Richey too!!!

I moved from NYC to NPR about 12 years ago & it was easily one of the nicest places I've ever lived!!! Unfortunately when I found out that I was going to become a father for the first time I decided to move back home to NH because I thought it was a better/safer place to raise children....

I'm not entirely sure it was the right thing to do now?

Better/safer, perhaps???

DEFINITELY A LOT COLDER!!!

Wow, very cool! I don't think I could live up north anymore. It is amazing to me how many forum peeps live in this area.
