 got my modded vox 847 wah back from john last week, with fulltone pot and switch and a halo inductor from banzai, plus john's famous secret electronic mojo -- stock sounded pretty good, but modded sounds fantastic -- smoother sweep, sweeter yet ballsier voice -- everybody should get one and send it to john for mods -- you will be totally pleased -- :smokin:

Excellent Ian...I started worrying when I didn't hear from you right away on it.Get the right parts and some cool tweaks and an average wah becomes an awesome wah! I'm happy that you like it!

Re: Spina wah

Can't say enough good things about John's work. IMO, he does perfect sounding mods that give me the tones I hear in my head. Lew

Re: Spina wah

Thanks guys......Basically I mod every pedal as if it were going to be used by me,plus I'm very fussy about it being neat and done right! And it has to have better tone of course..:laugh2: :fingersx:

Re: Spina wah

I wanna cry like a baby when I think about how good John's mods to my Vox are. :)

Re: Spina wah

I was playing my Pauly through my Fender DRRI the other day, kicked in some Plexitone crunch and some lite echo, then part-way thru a song I injected some wah from my Spina-Vox.....man, that sounds so sweet the way that thing talks to me. That combination is sonicly awesome for me.
