This is a Splawn 22 watt amp that has it's roots in the classic Marshall tone but with a modern twist. Compared to the classic Marshall tone this amp has more lows and low mids with the highs rolled back a bit, it is a much fuller/fatter tone. The amp has a clean channel and two overdrive channels that share an EQ, each overdrive channel has two gain stages that are foot switchable. Amp also has an effects loop with a level control. The level control is like a master volume that is after the power section, when you roll it up the sound does not change but the volume goes lower. This feature is convenient for playing at home. This is a great amp from a great builder, Scott Splawn. Quality wise there is nothing this amp lacks. These go $1400.00 new, I am looking to get $1050.00 shipped. I was told by the previous owner that the custom tolex was an upcharge of $100.00 but I cannot verify that figure. Thanks for looking.
