I just bought a Jackson DK2M with a pair of Seymours in. Although the Jackson site doesn't sepcify which, I found another site saying that it's a TB-4 JB in the bridge and an SH-2n in the neck. From what I can gather, the TB-4 JB is the same as the SH-4 JB but with a slightly wider spacing. Being the fiddly little child I am, I'm wanting to split the coils. My question is this: what's the difference between using the adjustable coil and using the slug coil?
