I've played lots of P90s and I find that you almost can't find a bad sounding one, they just have slightly different flavors. Even cheap ones sound great. I've got some that cost less than $30 that sound as good as $90-120 boutique ones. I've even got a set that has ceramic magnets that sound amazing (and I usually HATE the sound of ceramics)! Once you get a set of P90s in your guitar, you won't want to "upgrade" them later.
