it sounds a bit over-compressed now but youtube says the quality should improve as the video is processed.
on my comp it sounds good anyways.

I think you are limited on loudness, as my self, to be able to demo the complete range of sounds of that little beast.

Yeah, for sure.

Even if the neighbors were all on holiday, my mic is just the built-in on this macbook, and it craps out on input volume pretty quick. I'd like to buy a nice mic sometimes but I find myself recording so infrequently that so far I've just ignored that purchase.

This amp does get loud and the greenback is a great match for it. I have no plans to change speakers... that's a first for me, and a relief.

doing a demo of the amp itself is a plan, as it does have a lot of sounds. Every time I think "I sure do like my dirt boxes" I go back and plug straight into the amp and just dig what I hear.

The japanese tubes i got really helped me fall in love with this amp! The stock stuff was just a bit too fizzy and these tubes all have a tad less gain and a bit beefier crunch. Feels like just a bit more low mids, and it makes a big difference in feel.
