SSB-4 Difference between neck and bridge

I'm thinking of trying an SSB-4 passive soapbar in my Ibanez AGB-140 bass.
It's got a single pickup in approximately the P-Bass position.

The SSB-4s are sold as bridge or neck versions. What is the difference in tone between them? Or is it just a difference in output to compensate for bigger string vibration at the bridge?

Generally the bridge is a little hotter and has a tad more mids.
