SSL-2 and 59 to a Hendrix backing

Re: SSL-2 and 59 to a Hendrix backing

Hey, nice clip! I've been interested in the 59 as a bridge humbucker in my strat also.

Is yours four conductor or two? Do you split for the notch position or use the entire pickup? Whatever it is, does it sound good?
And also my biggest question, is whether or not the pickup overpowers the single coils?

The '59 4 four conductor trembucker is one of my very best purchases.
It blends perfectly with the single coils, and it has a similar scooped sound that, when distorted, gives you that timeless rock crunch we all love.
I don't about death metal though...
I like it.:approve:

Hahaha yeah. I would be putting it in my "rock and blues" stratocaster, if I decided to.
