SSS polarity question

Was going through some old parts and saw I have a Duncan SSL5 and a Fender CS 69 single coil kicking around. I thought I might put together a David Gilmour inspired pickguard. SSL5 in the bridge, 69 in the middle, and a Fat 50's (that I don't have yet) in the neck. I did some research here and have a few questions.

1. I believe both the SSL-5, 69, and Fat 50's are all south as far as polarity goes. I know I can use them and just not have it hum cancelling in the 2 and 4 positions, and I'm cool with that. But if I were to buy a middle RW/RP Fat 50's and put it in the neck, where it is

Neck - RW/RP Fat 50's (North)
Middle - 69 (South)
Bridge - SSL-5 (South)

I should be able to get hum cancelling in the neck/middle position (one of my favorite tones), right? The middle/bridge position would not be hum cancelling, but that's ok with me. Also if i were to do the mini toggle for full on DG tones, would the neck/bridge combo would be hum cancelling as well?

2. If my thinking above is correct (and it may not be!), would the middle Fat 50's be voiced similarly to the neck version? I know the CS 69 are all the same pickup for all 3 positions, but the 50's seem to have slightly different specs.

Thanks for your time!

Re: SSS polarity question

I thought the CS69 was North....

i know that traditionally Duncans and Fenders were opposite, but this thread here https://forum.seymourduncan.com/showthread.php?302301-Cs69-and-fat-50s-paired-with-an-ssl5 twisted me around. But in any case, if the CS69 is north, the SSL5 should be the opposite? And if that's the case it might be better for my application, no?

Neck - RWRP Fat 50 - South
Middle - CS69 - North
Bridge - SSL5 - South

I'm gonna grab a compass to figure it out for sure, but i feel like the more research i do the more confused i get!

Re: SSS polarity question

I put the rwrp in the neck and use a neck bridge blender. This is money because you not only get hum cancellation in full neck bridge position but also in neck position with the bridge slightly blended in or bridge position with the neck slightly blended in.

Re: SSS polarity question

CS69's are south polarity. Wind direction is opposite SSL series pickups with south magnets.
