Stack Humbuckers – Phase Issues?
Fender American Standard strat, STK-S2N (neck), STK-S2N (middle), JB Jr. (bridge).
Green + bare (together and grounded)
Red + White (together and floating)
Black (5 way switch)
All jumpers and big orange cap
Definitely sounds like I have phasing issues even though I wired it according to the provided diagram.
Doesn’t matter if I use a marshall, fender or Helix through FRFR speakers.
Single pole Pup wiring typically has the center pickup reversed.
But in stack humbuckers… you already have opposing polarity coils in each of the 3 pickups.
What is the correct orientation in this case?
-read some great articles on polarity and phase – but not sure of the correct way.
Any help is much appreciated.
