Stacked P90 and Jerry Donahue Wiring Diagram please ...

Hi
I am in the process of building my Warmoth Tele Custom with an SD Stacked P90 in the neck and an SD Jerry Donahue lead in the bridge. I have wired it all together with a CTS push-pull pot for the P90 so I can split it. Unfortunately, SD don't provide a wiring diagram for this configuration on their website (I have contacted Customer Services, but it may take some time for them to respond). So it tried to wire it as best i could based on a hybrid of the diagrams that came with the pickups and YouTube videos. (this is my first proper build and it has been a steep learning curve!). Guitar looks great - but doesn't make a sound! Not even a crackle! Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this combination with 2 volumes and 2 tones and 3 way selector please? While I taught myself soldering during this build, I am pretty happy that things are connected well ... just not in the right order! Any assistance would be much appreciated!

There can only be two probable explanations for this...either you didn't follow the diagram correctly and completely or your soldering skills are not up to par (even with poor soldering technique I would expect that you should at least get some sound (or noise).

First of all, forget about splitting the P-90 stack. All that does is remove the "dummy" coil. Wire the neck P-90 according to this diagram:

Wire the bridge single coil according to this diagram (connect the tone pots as in the first diagram):

Make sure you have the output jack wired correctly with the hot lead going to the tip and the ground wire going to the sleeve.

Hi - thanks for getting back to me so quickly. You were right and I had the output jack wired incorrectly, but the issue still hasn't been resolved. I still want to have the option of splitting the P90 as that is the reason that I went for that model - I might decide that I don't like the sound - but still want to have the option. My issue was that I didn't have a wiring diagram for that particular configuration. The JD pickup had a wiring diagram that differed to the one that you sent - so i will try that and see how i get on. I have the day off tomorrow so wil be using the time to get this working! Thanks again!
