Stacked single coils

Hi I'm looking for a stacked single coil pickup to replace bridge pickup on my MIM Standard strat which I think is great guitar with crappy pups. I want something with single coil vibe and a little higher output than normal single coil but not like humbucker. Thanks.

Sorry, I ment not to sound like a humbucker. found in les paul or something. I want Single coil without hum that sounds like single coil.

The stacks are pretty much all good choices for what you're asking. I have an STK-S2 Hot Stack for my center pickup in my HSH (HHH if you want to be perfectly truthful) and it sounds very single-coilish. I suggest listening to the demo samples that S-D has online here and also check out YouTube demos to see which tickles your fancy the most.

STK-6 or STK-7? The STK-6 retains more S.C. characteristics I.M.H.O. but both are great hum cancelation bridge pickups for Stratocasters...

Re: Stacked single coils

ya think? i dont know if i agree with that. the vintage hot stack is still pretty single coily. the custom stack is similar to the ssl6, great bridge pup but i dont know if its any more single coily than the vintage hot stack. the stk-s9 on the other hand is not very single coily at all. great lead pup though.

Re: Stacked single coils

I have a STK-S1 classic stack and I think the MIM singles sound way better. They just get a bad rep because they don't have alnico magnets. I say use your ears.
