Stacked version FS-1.

I wonder what is the closest sounding noiseless version of the dimarzio FS-1.
According to my analysis Gilmour played on fs-1, then Seymour Duncan based on fs-1 was created SSL-5. STK-S6 od noiseleas version SSL-5.
So will STK-S6 be a good choice?

i think thats a good option! the fs1 and ssl5 are a bit different but if you like one, youll probably like the other as well. the stks6 is the noiseless version as you said

and if you want to get really nerdy, the SSL-5 used to be called the SSL-1C, short for Custom, as it used to be a Custom Shop pickup.

true. and the ssl1c was what david put is his strat, buts it basically the ssl5 now, they just didnt have that model at the time. just saw him at the hollywood bowl in the fall and he was amazing
