Here's an all-synth funk/ jazz composition I concocted from random ideas not too long ago. A couple of notes for those who care:

1. No guitar, all synth. Sorry to disappoint you.
2. The opening riff is inspired (read: stolen, renamed, and claimed as my own) by Herbie Hancock's Maiden Voyage, hence the title.
3. Some metal piano riff in the middle.

Dig it. My youth was half stuff like this and half Huey Lewis & the News. Also half Top Gun theme song if you wanna get technical. This makes me wanna bust out my Alesis.
