STC-3M3 and QP P-Bass pickups

Looking to add some tonal versatility to my trusty old mexican p-bass, that already has a QP p-bass pickup in it and was wondering if a STC-3M3 was appropriate. Would the wiring schematic come out the same? I don't remember how many leads a QP P pickup has, but I know the STC unit is made for a Music Man. Anyone have any insight?

welcome to the forum!!

ive built few basses that have used the qp p bass pup along with a alnico mm pup and used the stc electronics. there is no reason that you couldnt use them with just the qp.
