Plus, I'm not a huge fan of the Deftones. I think that their style is good, and the way they approach having a DJ in the band is interesting, but they weren't my favorite to come out of that era. Better than Limp Dickzkit, though.

A Schecter 'seems better built' than an ESP? Have you ever played either?

Schecters are fine guitars but looking at pictures to determine build quality won't get you very far. ESPs are, similarly to Jackson, a mass-production custom shops, very high quality instruments (and this coming from someone who would never really consider owning one).

By the way LTDs and Schecters are the same guitars. Quite literally: MIK Schecters and LTDs are built in the same factory, by the same people.

I understand that looking at pictures doesn't determine quality. I know it's better because I've actually played on one a couple times. It just seemed like it was a better guitar. The past couple of LTD's I've played weren't as good as the quality I'm used to, but Schecters for the most part are pretty good with quality. Just my opinion.
