Stereo: Solid State <-> Tube

Being that I'm in the market for a new amp (tube, high end, one to build a sound with...hehehe) and also being that I don't like to own stuff and not use it I was wondering if it were possible to do a stereo rig w/ a Solid State MG250DFX into Whatever New Quality Tube Amp it is I'll own?
Is this going to be possible?
I've been getting into crazy delay laden effects type situations and wanted to run that delay stuff on another channel so I do regular things over on the new amp. You know, like just have some crazy noise going on one side and some really nice sounding things on the other.

Yep a stereo delay or chorus would get you there, or you could get an ABY switch.

Re: Stereo: Solid State <-> Tube

But if you want to go the Interesting weird way i'd go for a stero chorus or Delay or something like that..

Re: Stereo: Solid State <-> Tube

My suggestion?

Guitar -> New amp -> new amp loop out -> Stereo effect -> loop in on both amps

You could use an A/B=Y box as a splitter if you don't have an effect with a mono in and stereo out.

AH.......Yes yes yes..
Very clever...

That way you'll get the pre-amp of your new amp to act as pre-amp for your old amp too....
