Stew Mac's Golden Age Humbuckers

Re: Stew Mac's Golden Age Humbuckers

Only issue I see is that the jazz bass pickups are advertised as authentic. They are, except they are wound with poly-sol instead of red enamel or form-var. I called and confirmed this info. and informed them that claiming them to be authentic could come back and bite them in the butt. They agreed. Other than that they seem to be a very good pickup especially for the price and they're hot ( Bridge 8.5 Neck 8.0 ) I personally prefer the sound and response of the originals, form-var or red enamel, but I'm an old fart road dawg, been playing a Fender Jazz since 1963.
