STHR-1C Hot Rails Pickup

Hi everyone!
I bought a used Telecaster a while back and took the pickups out a few days ago. There was a SD Hot Rails in the bridge, but the label on the back says "STHR1C" instead of "STHR1B", which it is supposed to say, right? I have attached two pictures. I could not find anything on the internet about it and the search function of the forum seems to be broken.
Does anybody know what is up with this pickup? Is it a normal Hot Rails or something else?

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian

Re: STHR-1C Hot Rails Pickup

looks like an old school hot rails to me, great pup! not sure about the c vs b, could be because its an older model or could be it was an oem for a manufacturer or something or ?

Re: STHR-1C Hot Rails Pickup

A very cool old pickup. Did that come stock in your guitar, or was it added later?

Re: STHR-1C Hot Rails Pickup

Thank you for your help! :-) Maybe someone knows about this c vs. b thing, we'll see.
The pickup came in a Squier Tele from the 90s, so the former owner must have put it in there.
