i just put one on the trem cover of one of my guitars a couple days ago. been playing for 6 1/2 years and it took me that long :laugh2: the cover was all melted or something, i dunno, its from the previous owner and just generally all ****ed up looking so i decided to cover it. i just printed out a picture and taped it on. ill take a pic of it tomorrow, i like it. id never put something on the front of a guitar though (or at least not the finish, possibly the pickguard)

Somebody will read your posting and submit a college thesis length rant on exactly how stickers and/or graphic design decals unbalance the tone of guitars. Me, I want one of those Facelift things featuring Spongebob Squarepants. Yowza!

i've got a few;

a "the cure" decal on the front and an AC/DC decal on the back of my SG faded, along with a 3D pop-out sticker of hello kitty on the headstock. and on my acoustic, a "pickguard" shape outline of sharpie, with a checker pattern inside covered in a collage of hello kitty pop-out stickers to create a "pickguard". i'll have to take a picture of that, it's actually cooler than i make it out to seem:scratchch.....

When I got my MIM Tele, it had some stickers on the back. I tried to peel one off, and found that it would have made a big mess of sticky glue, so they got to stay on.

Once I had an old Yamaha box I gave to a friend, but before he got it another friend's daughter put on a tiny lizard sticker and a tiny turtle sticker right next to the bridge and I left those.

i've got stickers on quite a few of my guitars. i think it adds a bit of individuality to a common guitar, i dont put stickers on all my guitars, just the ones that milliions of other people have lol

I picked up the guitar at age 16, and has never felt the urge to do that - ever !

For me stickers depends a lot on the guitar. If you plaster a LPjr or a Tele with stickers, and really rock it, more power to you.

If you drop a sticker on a prs custom24 or a Les paul custom, I'ma slap you.

I do like the (decal ?) that is on James Hetfield's new sig ESP !

The WWI Red Barron style cross - that sould look good on this guitar.
Just behind the stop tail piece.

So far I've put all stickers on my hard shell guitar case. However I've been contemplating putting a few stickers on my black Tele:

Maybe a few socially conscious ones in similar places to Joe Strummer's '66 Tele? I do like it as it is though.

all of my guitars have one sticker or an other on it.

The only one on my SG is a big one on the back to guard against belt rash...it's not working hahaha

I know a bass player who has a Lotus P-Bass copy that is covered head to toe with stickers. I'll try and get a pic sometime, it's pretty crazy.

Stickers? No.

after the horrifying experience of feeling regret for putting stickers on my stratocaster, peel them off, work with alcohol, polish and all kinds of **** to get the goo off... no.

Only on the pickguard. I might add my initials or a little flower like a rose.
