i've got stickers on quite a few of my guitars. i think it adds a bit of individuality to a common guitar, i dont put stickers on all my guitars, just the ones that milliions of other people have lol
Only on one guitar. I put a little ladybug sticker on one of my Gibson 1960 VOS G0 Les Pauls. It's on the bass side of the bridge pickup's mounting ring; I'm the only one that can see it when I play the guitar. It's just there to honor someone very special to me who passed away earlier this year.
This would have to be one the most famous stickered guitars from the 1970's. I read an interview back then where Alvin (Lee, Ten Years After) said that at one stage, he sent the guitar back to Gibson to have some work done, and when they returned it, they'd re-finished it....over the top of the stickers ! By that stage, i guess Gibson were acknowledging just how iconic this guitar was.
