Stiff Drink in the Morning. Electric slide/band

Here's a track I did in the late 90's with my band, The Kinship.

The singer, Shelby Thibodeaux, is a guy from Port Arthur Texas.

I'm not sure what I was using, but I think it was a Strat neck pickup into a Blues Pearl Shredhead halfstack. It was a demo, so I had nothing to do with production.....I just came in and played and let the engineer do his thing.

And yes, those are black sistas singing backup.

Thanks for the compliment. My favorite thing about being in that band was being able to play in tandem with a great Hammond B3 player. What you hear toward the end of the song is a Hammond with a Budda Wah pedal in the custom FX loop of the organ. The production quality is what it is, but I just posted this because I like the vibe of the song and I was playing slide with a SSL-1 strat neck. The rhythm guitar was a tele with the stock pickup.
