I'm begginning to suspect that its a faulty unit. Tryed it with my acoustic guitar today and theres the same low pitched humming noise coming from it.
My chain was this:
Acoustic - looper - keyboard amp
No noise at all when looper is taken out of chain
The unit works fine apart from this noise.
All cables used worked fine.
I tryed changing where the power adapter for this unit was plugged into. Plugged it into a point over the other side of the room, then tried it plugged into the same outlet as the keyboard amp......still exactly the same noise.
I then tried Batteries....same noise persisted
Even with nothing plugged into the input, and the output plugged into the amp, it STILL makes the same noise. (all knobs are turned to 0 BTW)
Read the warning sheet that came with it, and turned off my pc monitor, mobile phone, television, and moved it at least 2 metres away from anything electrical.....NOPE, didnt work
So i can definately conclude that theres something going wrong inside the unit.........right???
So now what to do??? I foolishly bought it over ebay because it was quite a bit cheaper than local stores.....and DONT ASK why i decided to give positive feedback already!!!!
Would it have a warranty? Had a look inside the box it came with and couldnt see anything resembling one.
My options as i see it:
a) ask the ebay seller to kindly send a replacement (doubt this would be likely as i've already posted nice feedback)
b) find someone who can fix this problem......also unlikely
c) deal with the hum (nuh uh.........i'd go crazy listening to it!!!:thumbsdow :thumbsdow :thumbsdow :thumbsdow :thumbsdow
Help me out here fellas, gimme some ideas as to how i can get rid of this hum in one way or another!!!:crying: I love the damn pedal apart from this!
