STK-S2 or JB Jr in the neck of a basswood Super Strat?

What do you guys think of an STK-S2 or JB Jr. in the neck of a basswood Ibanez 540R guitar with Edge Lo Pro tremolo and rosewood fretboard?
I'm looking for an all around good rock tone from this guitar. I play lots of clean stuff, mostly melodic stuff on the neck pickup, and lots of heavily distorted odd chords and leads.
I want warm and fat but not tubby and muddy.
I currently have a Hot Rails in the neck position and it just doesn't seem to have much character. It is too dark, and too bleh.

I have a PATB-1 (alnico 8) in the bridge and some unknown but decent sounding single coil in the middle.
My band plays original music that is sort of a cross between Rush and early Incubus with a lot of vintage Maiden thrown in for good measure.

The Tone Wizard keeps coming up with the STK-S2 or the JB Jr, or the Quarter Pound Flat for a neck pickup.

I am open to humbucker or Strat sounds, although I have an alder bodied Strat type guitar already.

Anybody use these pickups in an old Ibanez?
