STK-S4N Wiring

I have a Strat with an STK-S4N in the neck position. Found out this pickup has 4 wires, and can be switched to two different modes. Being a mediocre player and a simple man, I just need the basic wiring diagram to connect this up.

I have an SSL-1 RWRP in the middle position, and an SH-5 Humbucker in the bridge slot. I do have the standard Seymour Duncan wiring diagram for this setup (again, simple wiring for SH-5), but need to know how to wire in the neck pickup. Any help much appreciated. Thanks,

John

Yes, you can split the STK-S4 if you'd like, when in combination with the middle pickup. You can also split the humbucker. What kind of selector switch do you have? How many volume/tone knobs?

Re: STK-S4N Wiring

I always forget whether the Stack Plus series is louder when split. I think it's only typical to split them for the purposes of combining with a standard single or humbucker coil and maintaining hum canceling.

With an RWRP middle, a split S4N won't be hum canceling. You'd either need a standard middle or an STK-S4M.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have the 5-way slot selector, 1 volume (which goes to 11 - true) and 2 tone knobs. I don't want to split anything, as I am trying to keep things as simple as possible.
