Stk-s6 in the neck position?

Normally I use a lil 59 in the neck position but I recently pickup a vintage guitar I prefer to keep more traditional looking.

I want a similar output and thought the stk-s6 might work, but it appears to be designed as a bridge pickup. Does that matter?

Looking deeper, the lil 59 is 9.8k.

The stk-s6 is 14.5k, while the stk-s7 is closer at 11.9k.

I use both!
The STK-S6 on the neck and the STK-S7 on the middle.
What would you like to know?

The STK-S6 might give you some balance problems with the other pickups if you put it in the neck. It isn't that it can't be done- but you will have to balance it with pickup height, which might not give you the best tone- it does sound pretty different than the Little 59, as well. Here, you might have to make a choice between looks and sound.

My bridge pickup is a JB. So I was hoping they would balance.

you should be fine using the stks6 in the neck with the jb in the bridge

With a JB, it should work. But you may have to play with the pickup heights still.
