STK-S6 vs STK-S7 (in the neck)

Thinking of trying one of these in the neck. Which one is higher output and which one is brighter? It would seem to be the STK-S6 on both counts, which is counter-intuitive to me.

The Vintage Hot (STK-S7) seems like a great neck pickup for a warmer, hotter version of a Strat Neck.

I can't get over how nice that sounds. I've been thinking of moving my Music Man to an SSH setup now that my Eclipse and my PRS are HH guitars. I was thinking of an STKS7 in the neck and a Pearly Gates in the bridge. That video really sold me on the S7 though.

Jack always sounds awesome, doesn't matter what he's playing. Makes me think I should spend more time practicing and less time screwing around with pickups.

Nah! :D

I bought an STK-S7 for the bridge to match a pair of STK-S5 (which are really an early Nuno version of the STK-S4)
I figure it should work pretty good

With all do respect to Seymour Duncan, that video is about Jack. Nuff said.
