Stock Ibanez Pick-up...silly Question?

Hey Everyone,

I have a question about the stock Ibanez v7(neck) and v8(bridge) pickups.

I just purchased an RGA121 that has a maple neck/rosewood fingerboard...
mohagany body with a carved maple top...the maple top is a good 1/2" or more thick at the center and about 1/4" at the edges...I guess that's thick enough to effect the tone ( I have never owned a capped guitar).

Anyway I'm finding that I like the sound of the stock bridge p/u fairly well, much better that I did when I had one in my basswood RG.

My question is does anyone know the output of that p/u? Is it high or medium? Is it based off a particular Dimarzio?

they use ceramic magnets AFAIK and that means they're fairly high output

Nope, no multimeter, I know they're made by Ibanez but seeing as though Ibanez has a cozy relationship with Dimarzio, I figured there might be a corellation.

On a side note, has anyone heard the Evo2 yet? Charactoristics?

The V8's output is similar to a Duncan JB, just a tad lower. I'd say medium, leaning towards high but not quite there. The V8 has a very strong mid-freq response, so it feels a bit hotter than what it actually is. And that's why it sounds like crap when clean, but kinda nice when overdriven/distorted... :-)
