Look I know this is the SD forum, but the ultimate stoner/doom/sludge pickup is the Bareknuckle Warpig. I have two alnico versions in my SG which doesnt leave C and is exclusively used for doom and stoner. It is brutally heavy, yet very articulate under high levels of gain and fuzz. Truly an amazing pickup

In all my years, I have never been near a bareknuckle. Not that I don't want to but they just are not available on anything. Now there is an Ibanez that has them that may show up some day, but I have no idea.

They are too hard to get/expensive to take a chance on.

You can order them straight from their site. As far as price, they're inline with the other high end boutique pickups out there. Whether any boutique pickup is worth the price is up to the player.
